Girls on the Run Spring 2025 5K

🏃‍♀️ About the Race

Join Girls on the Run Bexar County as we complete our Spring 2025 season! Our mission is to inspire girls to be joyful, healthy, and confident using a fun, experience-based curriculum which creatively integrates running.

• Confidence: Completing the 5K gives the girls a tangible understanding of the confidence that comes through accomplishment as well as a framework for setting and achieving life goals.
• Defining Moment: Crossing the finish line is a defining moment when the girls realize that even the seemingly impossible IS possible.
• Open Event: This event is open to the public—all are welcome to join!
• Scholarships: Proceeds from the event go toward scholarships. No girl is turned away from our program based on economic need.

🎖️ Finisher Information

All finishers will receive a Girls on the Run towel at the finish line--soaked in ice cold water if the day is hot! Finisher medals are given to the girls who participate in our program, primarily to recognize the completion of their 10 weeks with GOTR, with the 5K as their final lesson.

📝 Registration Details

Register by April 20, 2025 to be guaranteed a T-shirt. After April 20, T-shirts will be first come, first served.

💲 Entry Fees

Entry Fees: - No refunds
5K Run/Walk - $30, $35 starting March 16, $40 on race day.

🏆 Awards

Overall M&F Winners + M&F Masters 10 Year Age Groups for first 3 M&F. Overall winner awards will be based on gun time. No duplication of awards.

📦 Packet Pick-Up

Packet pick-up:

• Wednesday, May 7, 3:00-7:00PM at GOTRBC office, 10223 McAllister Fwy, Ste. 101, San Antonio, TX 78216.
• Thursday, May 8, 4:00-7:00PM at TBD.
• Race Day beginning at 7:00am.
