🏃‍♀️ Event Overview

• Celebration: Come celebrate the transition from Thanksgiving to the Christmas season with a fun but competitive Syracuse Ugly Sweater 5K.
• Location: The 10th Annual Syracuse Ugly Sweater 5K will once again be held at Onondaga Lake Park under the Lights on the Lake.
• Participants perks: All race participants will have the option of receiving a custom Ugly Sweater 5K long sleeve shirt, a unique winter headband (Team Santa or Team Grinch), and a custom finisher medal.
• New Option: New for 2024 is a No Shirt/Headband option. All participants will receive a finisher medal.

🎊 Awards and Ceremony

• Post-race event: Post race awards ceremony and party will be at the Cobblestone in Liverpool.
• Awards: There will be awards for the Overall and Age Group winners as well as prizes for best in dress.

🎁 Community Contribution

• Donations: All donations, both financial and in-kind, will go to the Syracuse Rescue Mission this year.
• Winter Clothing: Please bring lightly used winter clothing donations to the race.
• Needed items: Especially seeking winter items such as coats, boots (sneakers as well), hats, mittens, socks, and toiletries (toothpaste, toothbrushes, combs, etc.).
• Donation truck: There will be a truck on location accepting items.

📦 Packet Pickup

• Pre-event Pickup: Pre-event Packet Pickup (PPU) TBD, more details to come!
• Race Day PPU: Race Day PPU will be held at the Salt Museum @ 106 Lake Dr., Liverpool, NY 13088 starting at 8:30am.
• Race Start: Race starts at 10:00am.
