🏃‍♂️ Dolphin Dash Overview

Dolphins get ready! Le Moyne is excited to host the 12th Annual Dolphin Dash - 5K run/walk and one-mile walk event.

Proceeds from the event will support student scholarship at Le Moyne College.

📅 When

• Live Event: Saturday, May 31, 9:30 a.m.: Run 5K (3.1 miles) or One-mile Walk
• Virtual Event: Friday, May 30 - Sunday, June 1: Run or walk a 5K (3.1 miles) anytime between those dates and anywhere and then submit your time to the leaderboard.

📍 Location

• Live Event: Athletics Complex at Le Moyne College / 1419 Salt Springs Road / Syracuse, NY 13214. The Le Moyne College Events Center is located off of Springfield Road, back entrance of campus / Athletics complex. The event will start and end here.
• Virtual: Anywhere

📝 Registration Options

Participants will have a few options. Sign up for the live, in-person, timed 5K event, the One-Mile walk (not timed), or the virtual event.

• Note: Registration will be online only up through the race time. There will be no paper application and cash or credit card payment accepted on event day.
• Group / Teams Registration: Participants can sign up as groups/teams, e.g., Class Teams - Class of 1999.
• Pricing: $25: includes a Dolphin Dash commemorative tee, while supplies last (cut-off date is May 10).
• Virtual Pricing: $15 for the virtual Dolphin Dash: $10 additional for Dolphin Dash commemorative tee, while supplies last (cut-off date is May 10).

🎖 Awards

• Overall Male and Female Finisher: First, second, and third place.
• Class Team Award: First place finisher, Male and Female in each category (Age 12 & under, Age 13-19, Age 20-29, etc.).
• Non-Timed Awards: Dolphin Spirit Award and Longest Mile Award.
• Special Pricing: $5.00 off race registration to active duty and retired military and members of local running clubs.

👕 Giveaway: Commemorative Dolphin Dash T-Shirt

Participants will receive a Dolphin Dash commemorative T-shirt. Commemorative t-shirts will be mailed to virtual participants following the conclusion of the event. Please allow between 2 to 3 weeks for delivery.

The cut-off date to guarantee your event shirt is May 10.

🌦 Weather Policy

The Dolphin Dash Run/Walk will take place rain or shine. If cancellation of the event is warranted due to dangerous weather conditions, announcements will be made race day at the race site.
