The Nate the Great Race is held in conjunction with the Boxing Hall of Fame Weekend.
💰 Purpose of Proceeds
- Dream Facility: Proceeds from the race started out building the “dream” of a state of the art track facility.
- Ongoing Support: When that was accomplished, the race continued on for numerous other community efforts.
- Scholarships: The race currently supports scholarships.
- Community Programs: Other programs supported include summer conditioning programs, youth track meets, health & fitness classes, the office of the aging, and numerous other community-based programs.

Additionally, you can find the Canastota Running Club baskets at fundraisers whenever there is a time of need.
