Get ready to join us for the fifth annual Run With Neil on October 4th at Scappoose High School!
🤝 Collaboration Details
- Event History: We are excited to continue the collaboration with Scappoose High School Cross Country team that put together the first annual Run With Neil Invitational in 2024.
- Participants: High school and middle school runners from all over the state will be coming to Scappoose to participate in this event and we cannot wait to support them!
👨👩👧👦 Community Involvement
- Open Participation: Before the invitational, we've got the annual 1k, 3k, and 5k open to everyone in the community.
- Family Opportunity: This is a great opportunity to get the whole family moving and support local youth as well as Run With Neil.
💰 Purpose of Funds
- Resource Allocation: Funds raised will go directly to physical and mental health resources for school aged kids and to continue the Run With Neil Scholarship.
- Program Benefits: Some of the ways we help are creating mentorships between youth of various ages, sponsorship of athletes to participate in camps aimed at improving physical and mental health and overcoming financial barriers to provide athletes with equipment to participate.
🎉 Post-Event Activities
- Event Attractions: After the event, stick around and see local youth compete, enjoy food, booths from local vendors and free activities for kids and adults.
- Community Spirit: October 4th will be a day filled with fun, fitness, and a strong sense of community!
