🏃‍♂️ Race Overview

Join us for the 5th annual G.O.A.T.5K trail race! With more than 2,000 acres of picturesque land, Kiawah River race participants will enjoy the beautiful trails and unmatched views of springtime in the Lowcountry at Kiawah River. The race will start and finish with the adorable baby goats at The Goatery, located at Kiawah River. Join us after the race for biscuits and coffee!

• Date: May 3, 2025
• Location: The Goatery at Kiawah River, Johns Island, SC
• Proceeds Benefit: Appalachian Sustainable Agriculture Project
• Unique Swag: All participants will receive a one-of-a-kind hat and finishers will get a farm fresh plant.

❓ FAQs

• Parking: Head to 3883 Betsy Kerrison Parkway. Follow the road for 1.5 miles to meet our parking attendants. Carpooling is encouraged.
• Packet Pickup: Available on May 2nd from 10am - 6pm at Blue Sky Endurance, Mount Pleasant, SC and on race day from 7:30-8am at The Goatery.
• Chip Timing: Yes, the 5K race is chip-timed by Timing, Inc.
• Strollers: All-terrain strollers are welcome, but please start in the back.

🏆 Awards and Registration

• Registration Fee: $45, increases to $55 on April 1, 2025, and $60 on race day.
• Included in Registration: Chip-timed trail run, race trucker hat, eco-friendly plants for finishers, and prize baskets for top finishers.
• Walking: Walkers are welcome: enjoy the natural course.
• Dogs: Please leave dogs at home to avoid disturbing the donkeys at The Goatery.

The funds raised at this event go to the Appalachian Sustainable Agriculture Project. This nonprofit helps local farms thrive and build healthy communities through connections to local food.
