🏃♂️ Race Overview
- Mission: Join us as we hit the pavement to Stomp Out Soldier Suicide! Most of us have heard the statistic that 22 soldiers commit suicide a day.
- Statistics: Studies show that Veterans are at 50% higher risk of suicide than their peers who have not served.
- Goal: We are on a mission to reduce that number to zero and we need your help!
- Organizer: Helping Heroes NEPA presents the Stomp Out Soldier Suicide Run/Walk.
📅 Event Details
- Date: Saturday, October 19, 2024
- Time: Race starts at 9:00 AM: registration from 7:30 AM – 8:45 AM.
- Location: Blakely Borough Recreation Complex, 99 Keystone Avenue, Peckville, PA 18452
- Course: The course will be flat and fast and the cause worthy.
🏅 Participant Perks
- Custom Items: All participants will receive a custom beanie and gloves.
- Finisher's Coin: All finishers will also receive a custom finisher's coin.
- Awards: Awards for the 2.2 Mile run will be presented to top finishers in various categories.
- Categories: Awards to overall male, overall female, top male and female masters, and the top 3 male and female in each age group from 0-9 to 70+
💵 Registration Information
- Cost: $15 for children 17 and under, $20 for the 1 Mile Fun Walk, $25 for the 2.2 Mile Run/Walk.
- Race Day Price: Prices increase by $5 on race day.
- Packet Pickup: Pre-race packet pickup will be at Scranton Running Company on Friday, October 18, 2024 from 11 AM to 5 PM.
