🏃‍♂️ Join Us for the Inua 5k Run and Walk

Join us February 22, 2025 in Blue Jacket Park for our 9th annual Inua 5k to support Inua Partners in Hope.

📅 About the Race

• Support: We are looking forward to having your support and participation in the 9th annual Inua 5k to raise money for Inua Partners in Hope.
• Participation: Join us IN-PERSON or VIRTUALLY this year!
• Celebration: Plan to stick around after the race to enjoy music, food, fellowship, and awards.
• Impact: Over the past eight years, this event has raised more than $200,000 to support Inua Partners in Hope, a program designed to break the cycle of poverty in Kenya.

🗓️ Race Schedule

• Date: Saturday, February 22, 2025
• 5k Start: 7:30am
• Awards: 8:30am
• Kids' Run: 9:00am (FREE)

📍 Location, Directions, and Parking

• Start/Finish: Located near the intersection of Robin Road and Upper Park Road in Baldwin Park.
• GPS Address: Use 2330 Robin Road, Orlando, FL for directions.
• Parking: Available along Upper Park Road and Lower Park Road, plus a public parking lot off General Rees Avenue.

🏞️ Course Information

• Loop Course: Begins and ends in Lower Blue Jacket Park.
• Route: Participants will run around Lake Baldwin’s paved trail.
• Restrictions: Bicycles, roller skates, in-line skates, and dogs are prohibited from the race course.
• Headphones: Use is discouraged for safety.

💲 Pricing

• Early Registration: Now thru October 31, 2024: $35
• Late Registration: November 1, 2024 thru February 21, 2025: $40
• Race Day: $45 (no discounts available).
• Virtual 5k: $30

🎟️ Packet Pick-Up

• Location: Reeves Center: 1506 Lake Highland Drive, Building 200: Orlando, FL 32803
• Dates: Thursday, February 20 and Friday, February 21 (times TBD).
• Race Day: Packet pickup at the start line begins at 6:00am.
• Proxy Pickup: You may have another runner pick up your packet for you.

👶 Stroller Policy

Jogging strollers are welcome, but please start BEHIND all runners and yield the right of way.

🚶‍♀️ Walker Friendly

Walkers are welcome and encouraged to participate! Please allow runners to line up in front of walkers.

📊 Results

Results will be available at the race for those with the designated chip.

🏆 Awards

• Overall Awards: Top three overall males and females will receive awards.
• Age Groups: Awards for top three in each age group.
• Kids: All participants of the Kids’ Run will receive a medal.

👕 T-Shirts and Medals

All participants will receive a t-shirt and finisher's medal. Kids' run participants can purchase a shirt for $10.

👶 Kids' Run

Children will be divided into age groups and distances will range from 400 yards to 1 mile. Registration is required: the Kids' Run is FREE.

🌍 Virtual 5k

Run your own 5k anywhere in the world! T-shirts and medals are available for virtual runners.
