Defiance 50K, 30K, 15K & 3-Person 50K Relay: A scenic race through the beautiful trails of Point Defiance, Tacoma, WA, offering panoramic views of the Puget Sound.
🌲 Course Information
- 15K Runners & 3-Person 50K Relay Teams: Complete a 9.75 mi / 15.7 km loop through old growth forest once.
- 30K Runners: Run the loop twice, experiencing the lush surroundings of Point Defiance.
- 50K Runners: Cover the loop three times, passing through the Start/Finish area at Owen Beach.
🌊 Scenic Views
- Panoramic Views: Enjoy sweeping vistas of the Puget Sound along the course.
- Trail Highlights: Explore soft trails under 500-year-old giant cedars and firs, within one of the top 20 urban parks in the US.
🌞 Course Conditions
- Terrain: Mostly single track with dry conditions expected in mid-October.
- Challenge Level: Prepare for some hills, but the course remains 95% runnable for participants.
