• Course: The 5K course offers a flat, unpaved trail around the beautiful Union River Estuary.
• Accessibility: Whether you're an experienced runner or just looking to take in the views and fresh air, this event is perfect for all skill levels.
• Support: Run or walk beautiful estuary trails and support the next generation of Hood Canal stewards at the 2nd annual Hood Canal Salmon Run 5K!
• Fundraiser: This fundraiser supports the Hood Canal Salmon Enhancement Group’s mission of connecting people, land, and salmon through restoration, education, and research.

🎓 Educational Programs

• Proceeds: This year, proceeds from the 5K will directly support our educational programs.
• Age Groups: Programs include Farm Stewards (ages 7-11) and Explore the Fjord (ages 12-16) summer camps.
• Community Impact: Both programs rely on community donations to foster meaningful connections between local youth and the Hood Canal.
• Learning: Camps provide affordable, hands-on summer learning experiences.

• Check-in: Starts at 8:00am
• Run/Walk Start Time: 9:00am (staggered)

• T-shirts: Please note that t-shirts are not included in the registration and must be purchased separately.
• Pre-orders: Pre-orders will be accepted through May 1, 2025 on our online shop.
• Weather: This event will happen, rain or shine.
• Host: Hosted by the Hood Canal Salmon Enhancement Group (HCSEG, The Salmon Center) and our sponsors.
