35th Annual Four on the Fourth

🏃‍♂️ Event Overview

The 35th Annual Four on the Fourth will be held on July 4th, 2025, at the Steilacoom Town Hall in Steilacoom, WA. For more details, visit here.

📋 Important Details

• Course map: Results, and photos can be found at https://fouronthefourth.org.
• Day-of registrations: Accepted for an additional charge of $5.
• Registration times: Opens at 7:30 AM and closes at 8:45 AM.
• Race starts: 4 Mile at 9:00 AM and 1 Mile Kids at 9:05 AM.

🎉 Event Highlights

• Activities: Enjoy a street fair, parade, and fireworks following the race.
• Timing: Electronic Chip Timing will be used.
• Course certification: USATF Certified Course and sanctioned event.
• Course details: Scenic, mostly flat, out-and-back road course along the waterfront.

👕 Merchandise

• Event shirts: Available for purchase during online registration until June 30th at 11:59 PM.
• Safety: For everyone’s safety, pets are not allowed on the course.
• Dress Code: Prizes are given to the most patriotic dressed participants.
• Awards: Available immediately after finishing.

🥇 Awards Breakdown

4 Mile Awards

• Overall winners: Medals for 1st place overall male and female.
• Gender and age group: Ribbons for top 3 in each gender and age group.

Age Groups

• Categories: 0-9, 10-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80-84, 85-89, 90-94, 95-99, 100+

1 Mile Kids Awards

• All participants: Every kid receives a finisher ribbon.
• Additional item: A small USA flag will also be given.

This event provides funds to purchase shoes and uniforms for local youth runners, as well as provides a college scholarship for a graduating senior.
