🍀 Event Overview

• Event Name: HOPE's 14th Annual Sham Rock N' Run 5k
• Date: Saturday, March 8, 2025
• Start Time: 8:00 AM, Registration opens at 7:00 AM
• Location: St. Luke's Lutheran Church, Oviedo, FL

👕 Participant Perks

• Exclusive Gear: The first 700 to register will receive a Performance T-shirt, Finisher’s Medal, and a custom race bib.
• T-shirt Sizes: Adult sizes only, not guaranteed after January 26th, 2025.
• Costume Contest: All participants are encouraged to dress up in their St. Patty's Day best for a chance to win prizes.
• Race Bag: All attendees will receive a race bag filled with swag: we ask participants to fill and return it with non-perishable food items for our Food Pantry.

🚼 Family Participation

• Stroller Policy: Children in strollers are welcome for free, but must start at the back of the pack.
• Parking: Available on-site at no charge.
• Safety Rules: No skates, skateboards, bikes, or non-service animals allowed on the racecourse.

🏆 Awards and Recognition

• Awards: Top 3 male/female runners will be awarded in various age categories: 9 and under, 10-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, 80+
• Fundraising Purpose: All proceeds benefit HOPE Helps, Inc., focused on preventing and reducing homelessness in Central Florida.

📦 Packet Pickup

• Location: The HOPE Chest Thrift Store, 1802 W. Broadway St., Oviedo, FL 32765
• Pickup Times: Thursday 3/7, 10 AM - 5:30 PM: Friday 3/8, 10 AM - 5:30 PM.
• Race Day Pickup: Saturday 3/9 - 7 AM at St. Luke's at 2021 West State Road 426, Oviedo, FL 32765.

📧 Important Notes

• No Show Policy: If you are not present on race day, your shirt and medal can be picked up at HOPE Helps - 812 Eyrie Drive, Oviedo, FL 32765 from March 11th through March 15th, 2024.
• Shipping Option: Alternatively, items can be mailed to you for an additional $5 postage fee. Contact events@hopehelps.org for more details.
• Refund Policy: No refunds or transfers will be given.
