• Foundation Support: In the past 8 years, the Hero Hustle 5K (formerly the DBK 5K) has raised over $80,000 for the Kruid Charitable Foundation, with over 2500 runners.
• Participant Perks: The first 600 participants are guaranteed a custom race medal, race bib, and race t-shirt.
• Timing: The Hero Hustle 5K is professionally chipped and timed.
• Awards: Awards will be given to the overall top 3 finishers, top male and female master, and top 3 age groups for male and female participants.

• 7:30 am: 5K Run/Walk
• 8:20 am: 100 meters Kids Fun Run - Kids get a finisher medal - FREE
• 8:45 am: Awards

👕 Shirts

• Shirts: Each Registered 5K Runner will receive a race shirt.
• Size Availability: Sizes are not guaranteed for registrations on race day.

• Timing: The Hero Hustle 5K is professionally chipped and timed.
• Awards: Awards will be given based on overall top finishers and age groups.
• Age Groups: 9 & under, 10-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80+

• Parking Location: Please park in the industrial area behind DBK: off Springview Commerce Drive.

• Course Length: There is a 5K course, which is 3.1 miles in the beautiful surrounding DeBary neighborhoods.
• Timing Method: There will be a clock and chip timing at the finish line to view your time.
• Shirt Guarantee: Only pre-registered runners that successfully complete the registration and payment process are guaranteed a free race shirt.
• Refund Policy: As the race brochure states, we are unable to issue refunds. All entries are non-refundable.
• Weather Policy: The race is a "rain or shine" event.
• Transfer Policy: We have a strict NO TRANSFER policy.
• Medals for Late Registrants: If you are signed up after the first 600 runners, you will receive a normal medal.
