The 8th Annual Birmingham, Alabama Run for Resilience Ostomy 5k will be held on Saturday, October 5th, 2024 in celebration of Ostomy Awareness Day. All proceeds benefit the United Ostomy Associations of America, Inc (UOAA) charity, a 501(c)(3) organization. Donations are tax deductible.

🕒 Race Day Schedule
- 7:00 a.m. Registration and packet pickup
- 8:00 a.m. 5K Run/Walk (unofficially timed)
- 9:00 a.m. 1 Mile Children's Fun Run
- 11:00 a.m. Awards Ceremony
👕 Registration Includes Your Race T-Shirt & Bib
A unisex Adult or Youth size T-Shirt and Bib are included with your registration fee for the 5k Event and 1-mile Children's Fun Run.
🗺️ Race Course
The Fun Run will take place at Avondale Park in Birmingham. The exact route map will be included in your registration packets.
🅿️ Parking
Parking is free and available on site.
📦 Packet Pickup
To be determined.
🏆 Prizes
Prizes will be awarded to the top Male and top Female Overall Finishers, as well as to the top Male and Female Ostomates.
🛍️ Optional Ostomy Pouch
Race registration bags will include an ostomy pouch provided by Exclusive Diamond Sponsor Hollister to raise awareness about challenges faced by people living with ostomies.

After registration, create or join a race group/team to compete and celebrate the event with family, friends, and coworkers.

Raise $100 or more and your Registration Fee will be refunded!
Funds raised help UOAA continue to provide resources, educational materials, advocacy, and support to the ostomy and continent diversion community.
