🐾 Event Description
You are invited to participate in the UW-Madison School of Veterinary Medicine SAVMA's Run/ Walk 5k to raise awareness regarding wellness and mental well-being for veterinary students and professionals.
Dogs are welcome to participate in the race as well. Completion of a waiver and submission of up to date vaccination documentation (Rabies and Distemper) are required for participation.
🗓️ Event Logistics
- Check-In Time: 8:00 AM - 8:45 AM
- Race Start Time: 9:00 AM
🚗 Parking
- Location: Lot 60 near the boat launch. Parking is free on the weekends.
🌧️ Weather Policy
IF THERE IS RAIN OR SNOW DURING THE EVENT, THE RACE WILL STILL BE HELD.
🎁 Special Features
Registered participants will receive a T-shirt. Raffle prizes and a picnic will occur post-race.
The registration fee increases as we get closer to the race date so be sure to purchase tickets early!
