Walk for Dyslexia 2025

🌼 Event Overview

• Date: May 17, 2025
• Location: Brittingham Park, 829 W Washington Ave, Madison, WI
• Start Time: 8:30 am for the 5K walk/fun run
• Registration: In-person registration begins at 7:30 am

🐾 Dog Policy

• Dog Friendly: Dogs are welcome at Brittingham Park.
• Leash Requirement: All dogs must be on a leash (non-retractable, maximum 6 feet).
• Respect Others: Please watch your dog closely and respect fellow event participants.
• City Policy: Adherence to City of Madison rules is required.

👟 Virtual Participation

• Invite Friends: Participate virtually from anywhere.
• Complete the 5K: Run or walk a 5K in your neighborhood or local park.
• Track Your Steps: Approximately 6,000 steps make up a 5K if preferred.
• Share Your Adventure: Send photos to KKuenzie@:cdcinc.org for sharing on Facebook.

💻 Online Registration and Donations

• Processing Fees: An online registration fee is added to each registration and donation.
• Mail Option: To avoid fees, you may mail registration or donations.
• Deadline: Please download the registration form and mail it in before May 1, 2025.
• Continuous Donations: Donations accepted through the mail continuously.

🤝 Teams

• Form a Team: Gather friends, colleagues, and family to create a team.
• Discounts: All teams with five or more members receive a $5 discount.
• Refund Process: Discounts are issued as a refund once the team has at least 5 members.
