Preparations are underway for the 2025 Syttende Mai Classic, and we think you'll be excited about the updates.

📏 Race Distances

• Half-Marathon: A scenic run and walk.
• 5K Run: An engaging distance for all levels.
• 2 Mile 'Lil Run: Perfect for the little ones.
• Start/Finish Location: The entire event starts and finishes at Anderson Complex.

🎉 Event Amenities

• Increased Parking: Anderson Complex offers substantial parking for the event.
• On-Site Concessions: Enjoy refreshments during the event.
• Facilities: Clean bathrooms and bleachers for spectators.
• Community Celebration: An area large enough for everyone to celebrate together.

📅 Registration Details

This year's race furthers our 52-year tradition.

• Registration Deadline: Complete by April 17th to secure your race shirt.
• Timed Races: Half Marathon and 5K Runs are timed.
• Non-Timed Events: Half Marathon walk and 2-mile 'Lil Run are not timed.
• Centralized Registrations: All race registrations within Run Signup.

🏅 Finisher Medals

This year’s Half-Marathon runners, walkers, and 5K runners will receive a finisher medal with a new design. The design is inspired by one of the most powerful symbols in Norse Mythology, the Helm of Awe, referenced in many ancient poems.
