👶 About John Bear
All proceeds will go to John Bauer aka JOHN BEAR. John Bear was born on December 17, 2020. Besides being born with some cloudiness in his right eye, he seemed absolutely perfect. However, in early August 2021, John was rushed to the ER for displaying sudden loss of head control and was quickly diagnosed with a serious form of epilepsy, known as Infantile Spasms.
- Diagnosis: COL4A1 mutation (Gould Syndrome)
- Rarity: Less than 100 cases in the world documented
- Health Challenges: Small-vessel brain disease, multi-system disorder
- Recent Surgeries: Surgery in January 2023 and placement of Vagal Nerve Stimulator in March 2023
