🏅 Event Overview
The 51st annual Youngstown Peace Race takes place on Sunday, October 12th, 2024. The event includes a 400-Meter Kids Fun Run (Ages 10 & Under), 2-Mile Run/Walk, & 10K. A virtual option is also available.
⏰ Race Start Times
- Kids Fun Run: Begins at 9:00am and starts west of the Federal Plaza & Wick Ave intersection in Downtown Youngstown.
- 2-Mile Run/Walk: Starts at 9:30am from the square in Downtown Youngstown.
- 10K: Begins at 10:00am with the start line drop off area located at Kirkmere Elementary School.
- Packet Pickup: 10K Runners must pick up packets before going to Kirkmere.
🏞️ Course Details
- 10K Course: Follows a fast point-to-point route starting from the Kirk Rd. & S. Schenley Ave. intersection.
- Scenic Route: The 10K course winds through beautiful Mill Creek Park.
- Finish Line: All races finish at the monument at the intersection of Federal Plaza & Wick Ave.
- Finish Line Banner: Runners will cross under the finish line banner.
