🏃♂️ Race Overview
The 51st annual Youngstown Peace Race takes place on Sunday, October 12th, 2024. The event includes a 400-Meter Kids Fun Run (Ages 10 & Under), 2-Mile Run/Walk, 10K and 25K. A virtual option is also available.
🕗 Race Start Times
- 25K: Begins at 8:30am in Downtown Youngstown.
- Kids Fun Run: Begins at 9:00am and starts west of the Federal Plaza & Wick Ave intersection in Downtown Youngstown.
- 2-Mile: Begins at 9:30am from the square in Downtown Youngstown.
- 10K: Begins at 10:00am: the start line drop-off area is located at Kirkmere Elementary School. 10K Runners must pick up packets before going to Kirkmere.
🌳 10K Course Details
The 10K will follow a fast point-to-point course starting from the Kirk Rd. & S. Schenley Ave. intersection, winding through scenic Mill Creek Park.
🏁 Finish Line
All races finish at the monument at the intersection of Federal Plaza & Wick Ave. under the finish line banner.
