- Event: Get ready to kick off your Thanksgiving Day with a burst of energy at the 7th Annual Oviedo Turkey Trot 5K Run/Walk on November 28, 2024!
- Start Time: The race starts at 8:00 am sharp.
- Participants: Run alongside 1800 friends and family, sharing the joy of health and community.
- Finisher Medal: A well-deserved finisher medal will be waiting for you.
📅 Day of Event Schedule
- 6:30 a.m. - Registration & Pre-Registrations Opens
- 8:00 a.m. - 5K Race Start - Youth 5k Starts at the same time
- 9:00 a.m. - Kids run - no chip timing
- 8:45 a.m. - Awards ceremony
👕 Tee Shirts
- Guarantee: Shirts are guaranteed for all pre-registered participants before November 25th.
- Availability: Once a shirt is sold out, it will be marked as sold out.
- Race Day: Shirts are not guaranteed on race day.
🏆 Awards
- Top Finishers: Awards will be provided to the top 3 Males and Top 3 Females.
- Age Groups: Custom awards for the top 3 in multiple age groups including 6 & under, 7-9, up to 90+
- Challenge: Walk or hike while carrying a weighted rucksack or backpack.
- Weights: 15 pounds & 30 pounds are the two divisions.
📦 Registration & Packet Pick-Up
- Location: O2B KIDS - 1175 Oviedo Mall Boulevard, Oviedo, FL 32765
- Dates: November 14 - November 26, 2025 - 9:30 a.m. - 6:30 p.m.
- Closing Time: November 26 - Saturday Closing time is 5 p.m.
- Race Day: Packet pickup from 6:30 a.m. to 7:45 a.m.
🚗 Parking
Parking is plentiful next to the race start location. The race starts and ends at the same location.
⏱️ Timing & Scoring
Race will be timed and scored with a disposable chip provided, which will be attached to the back of the bib.

- Course Length: The 5K is 3.1 miles.
- Timing Method: Electronic timing system with a transponder chip.
- T-shirt Guarantee: Only pre-registered runners are guaranteed a free race t-shirt.
