🎉 Description
Type of race: If you’re looking for a PR-setting race, great age-group awards, or lots of goodies, this is probably not the one for you.
Course layout: The course consists of a small out-and-back in a parking lot and longer out-and-back on a heavily-used paved, urban run/bike trail.
Street crossings: There are two street crossings that you are responsible for crossing safely.
Event atmosphere: If you want a casual, fun event with no time pressure, but lots of encouragement, our no-frills, low-key events might be just what you’re looking for.

Entry fees: We promise low entry fees.
Course accuracy: An accurately measured course is guaranteed.
Timing: We provide diligent hand timing, not chip timing.
Finisher’s medal: Expect a finisher’s medal and a posted finish time.
🏃♀️ Courses
Course type: The courses are lap courses on a paved, urban run/bike trail that is partially shaded.
Marathon/Half Marathon laps: The marathon is 12 laps, and the half marathon is 6 laps, approximately 2.2 miles per lap.
5K/10K laps: The 5K is 2 laps, and the 10K is 4 laps, approximately 1.55 miles per lap.
Lap count: You are responsible for keeping your own lap count, and we will provide rubber bands to help track.
🚰 Start/Finish/Aid Station
Location: The aid station is at the start/finish location, passed twice each lap.
Refreshments: We will provide chilled water, Gatorade, Coke, Diet Mountain Dew, and snacks.
Hot weather items: In hot weather, pickles, olives, and pickle juice will also be available.
Water bottles: A table for your water bottles will be available at the aid station.
⏱️ Finish Line
Finishing procedure: Notify the timer when you finish and place the tear-off tab from your bib on the ticket spike for your distance.
Timing: Without these, you won’t get a finish time—or at least not an accurate time.
Recording times: Remember we are hand-timed—no timing chips!
💧 Cupless Race
Own hydration: This is a cupless (almost) race: please bring your own hydration device.
Hot weather: The 5:30 starters (full and half) will need a light for the first half hour.
🤝 Volunteers
Volunteer needs: We always need volunteers.
Incentives: Each full volunteer day earns a free long run (half marathon or full marathon) or two short runs (5K or 10K).
