🏃‍♂️ What is a Tunnel To Towers Run & Walk?

• Purpose: The Tunnel to Towers Run & Walk Series was created to honor the heroic life and death of Stephen Siller, a New York City firefighter (FDNY) who lost his life on September 11, 2001 after strapping on his gear and running through the Brooklyn Battery Tunnel to the Twin Towers.
• Remembrance: Honor all of those who lost their lives on September 11, 2001 and support our first responders and military who make extraordinary sacrifices in the line of duty!

🎉 Event Highlights

• Location: This event will take place at 100 Cleveland St, Greenville, SC.
• Community Focus: This will be the third year for Tunnel to Towers to hold an event in Greenville, SC. We are very excited to bring together the community to honor first responders, remember 9/11, and raise funds for the Tunnel to Towers programs.
• Event Type: This is a 5K (approximately 3.1 miles) to walk or run event. Anyone can run, walk, or experience this event.

• Date: Friday April 11, 2025
• Time: 8am-2pm

📝 Registration Details

• Same Day Registration: Yes. Registration will open at 7:15 AM the morning of the run.
• Registration Closure: Online registration will remain open until race day registration is closed.
• Bib Requirements: Yes, please display your bib on the front of your outermost garment.

🏅 Awards and Incentives

• Awards: Yes, we keep them very simple since our mission is to honor first responders.
• Finisher Medal: Each participant will receive a finisher medal.

💧 Hydration Services

• Water Stations: Yes, a water station will be available along the route.
• Start/Finish: Water will also be available at the start/finish line.

🚼 Event Policies

• Permitted Items: Strollers and wheelchairs are permitted. Please leave all personal items in your vehicle.
• Pets: Yes, you may bring your pet as long as it is leashed at all times.

💵 Donations and Fundraising

• Donation After Event: Yes. Donations will be accepted for 6 weeks after the event.
