🍻 The Huntley Historical Society Sew Hop'd Beer Mile

Join us for a unique running experience on July 26, 2025, at 1 Union Special Plaza, Huntley, IL. The event features four 1/4 mile laps where runners will drink a 12-ounce beer before each lap, following the sequence of drink, run, drink, run, drink, run, drink, run. Must drink beer provided by the event. Heats of no more than 20 participants will start every 30 minutes. This event benefits The Huntley Historical Society. RAIN OR SHINE!

🏃‍♂️ Event Schedule

• Relay Team Heat: The Beer Mile will start with the first Relay Team Heat at 2 PM. Additional Relay Heats will start approximately every 30 minutes.
• Individual Beer Mile Heats: will start after the Relay Team Heats.
• Sign Up Deadline: If you sign up after July 7, we cannot guarantee you will receive a t-shirt, but we will do our best to provide one in the correct size.

🥇 Relay Teams and Records

• Relay Teams: 4 members per team, 1 beer and 1 lap per team member!
• Course Records - Male: Daniel Richert 6:46 - 2024, Kris Pugawko - 7:08 - 2024.
• Course Records - Female: Savannah Henn - 12:38 - 2024, Savannah Henn - 13:27 - 2023.
• Relay Team Records: Hoppy Feet - 6:15 - 2024, Sotally Tober - 7:27 - 2024.

🎽 Registration Includes

Registration includes: T-Shirt, Custom Bib, Finishers Medal, Chip Timing, and Pictures. Please note that if you sign up after July 7, we cannot guarantee a t-shirt in your size.

🍔 Food and Entertainment

• Food Trucks: On site from 11 AM to 8 PM.
• Live Music: Enjoy live performances from 6 PM to 8 PM.
• Family-Friendly: Bring the family and a lawn chair to hang out and have fun!

⚠️ Age Requirement

MUST BE 21 Years of age on Event Date to Participate in the beer mile.

📦 Packet Pickup

Packet Pickup will be on Saturday, July 26th from 1 PM to 5 PM. RAIN OR SHINE!

🏆 Awards

Awards will be given to the Top 3 Male and Top 3 Female, Male and Female DFL (Dead Freaking Last) Beer and Non-Alcohol Beer, and Top Relay Team.
