🐾 Event Overview
The 6th annual Give a Dog a Job 5k fundraising event will be held Saturday, Sept. 14, 2024, at Main Line Brewery in Richmond, VA. We are excited to be back at Main Line for a fourth year!
🎽 This is More Than a Race
- Join Us: When you register for our 5K run/walk race, you’re signing up for much more than just a spirited event.
- Support a Cause: You will be running and walking with your furry friends to support a great cause.
- Canine Companions: 100% of race proceeds go directly to Canine Companions, which provides service dogs at no charge to those living with disabilities!
- Help Us: Come on out and help us GIVE A DOG A JOB!
👨👩👦 Family and Pet-friendly
This is a family and pet-friendly event and we encourage human and pet costumes to make the morning fun! There will be awards, door prizes, music, and vendors!
🏃♀️ The Doggie Dash
- Special Event: The Doggie Dash is for our smaller participants. Children 4-8 years of age will have the opportunity to participate in a 40-yard dash event just for them!
- Free Participation: Participation is free for this event, and each child will receive a finish line prize.
- Parent Involvement: One parent is permitted to run with the child. MUST BE REGISTERED TO PARTICIPATE.
⏰ Race Details
- Start Time: The in-person event, 5K participants at Main Line Brewery will go off at 9:00 am.
- Chip Timing: Chip timing will be offered.
- Awards: Awards will be given to the overall fastest man and woman along with the top age group males and females.
- Spread the Word: Please share our event with friends and family! We appreciate the referrals that will help change the life of someone living with a disability!
