🌟 Race Overview
The 3rd annual event is in memory of Connor James Smith who passed away at age 12, but loved being outdoors and being pushed in his wheelchair on runs with his mom. All proceeds will benefit the Connor James Smith grant for SCN8A families.
📅 Event Summary
- Date: Saturday, June 7th
- Purpose: Supporting children with special needs, special equipment and therapies
- Entry Benefits: Official race time, finisher's medal, finish-line beer (valid only on race day)
- Virtual Participation: 7 days to complete the distance and receive a finisher's medal
🏁 Event Details
The race will consist of three different race lengths: Half-Marathon, Quarter-Marathon, and 5k. A virtual option for all three is available.
🏃♂️ Half-Marathon
- Course: 2 3.25-mile loops (out and back) on the Capital Trail starting from Indian Fields Tavern
- Water Stations: Available at both turn-around points on the course
- Bib Pickup: 6:30 am to 7:15 am on June 7th
- Start Time: 7:30 am
🏃♀️ Quarter Marathon
- Course: 1 3.25-mile loop (out and back) on the Capital Trail starting from Indian Fields
- Bib Pickup: Anytime between 6:30 am and 8:15 am
- Start Window: 7:30 am to 8:30 am
🏃 5k
- Course: 1.55 miles out and back on the Capital Trail
- Bib Pickup: Anytime between 6:30 am and 8:15 am
- Start Window: 7:30 am to 8:30 am
