Event: The 13th Annual Jingle Jog 5K walk-run is a fundraising event to benefit the Ford Elementary School Foundation.
Foundation: The Ford Elementary School Foundation (FESF) established in 2005, is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing enhanced educational opportunities that otherwise would not be a part of the Ford Elementary School instructional program.
Funding: These additional educational opportunities can only be funded through Foundation efforts, and not through the Cobb County Board of Education or our PTA.
Location: Begin and end in the Bus Port at Ford Elementary School (1345 Mars Hill Rd. Acworth, GA 30101).
Schedule: The race will kick off with a Kids Reindeer Dash at 7:45am followed by the chip timed 5K beginning at 8:00 am.
ποΈ COURSE
Route: The course is an out and back loop with rolling hills.
Directions: Exiting the Ford Elementary Bus Port, turn right on Mars Hill Rd., turn right on Fords Rd. with turnaround at County Line Road.
AWARDS
Categories: Awards will be given for the top 3 finishers of each age category for Male & Female.
Overall Winners: We will also award the top overall Male & Female winners of the race.
Age Groups: The age categories are Kindergarten-5th grade, Middle School, High School, 19-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70 and over.

Deadline: T-shirts are guaranteed to all registrations received prior to November 11th.
π PARKING
Availability: There will be parking at Ford Elementary School - in the school lots as well as along the car line lanes entering and exiting the school.
β WEATHER
Rain or Shine: The race will happen rain or shine. Be prepared to run in any weather.
Updates: Please check your email on race morning for real-time updates on the status of the race if there is severe weather.
π REGISTRATION
Online Registration: Online registration closes at 11:59 pm on Wednesday, November 29th.
Race Day Registration: Race morning registration will be available from 7:00 - 7:40 am in the Ford Cafeteria.
π΅ REFUNDS
No Refunds: No refunds or transfers from person-to-person or year-to-year are allowed.
Cancellation: Registration fees are not refundable in the event of the race cancellation due to βActs of God or things outside of the control of the Race Director.
π¦ PACKET PICK-UP
Timing: Packet pick-up will be held in the Cafeteria on race morning starting at 7 am.
Student Packets: Some student packets may be available to be sent home with students the Friday prior to the race.

Process: Live Results will be accessible via QR code found on your race bib when you cross the finish line.
Results: Results will be provided at the finish line and will be posted to Eliteβs website immediately following the race at www.eliteracetiming.com.
π§ WATER STATIONS
Location: There will be one water station on the course at the turnaround site on County Line Rd.
Encouragement: Runners are encouraged to bring water bottles with them.
Post-Race: Additional water and post-race snacks will be available at the finish line.

Emergency: In case of an emergency, please immediately notify one of the on-site volunteers or a police officer.

Facilities: Restrooms are available inside the school through the cafeteria entrance.
