🏃♂️ Join us for our 9th Annual Gobble Wobble event on Thanksgiving Day (Thursday, November 28, 2024)!
10K and 5K participants will receive a crewneck sweatshirt and custom finisher medal. Kids Fun Run participants will receive a crewneck sweatshirt and a fun run medal.
💡 No Shirt / No Medal Registration Option
- Discounted registration: We have added a No Shirt / No Medal race registration option for the 5K and 10K events.
- Eligibility: Participants who qualify WILL BE eligible for overall and/or age group awards in the 5K or 10K events.
📅 Full-Price Events
- Registration open: Full-price 5K and 10K events are still open for registration.
- Shirt sizes: Shirt sizes are LIMITED, and participants are encouraged to register early.
- Size availability: Check shirt sizes during race registration, if listed as "Sold Out", select an alternative size.

- Beneficiary: All donations will benefit The Place.

The starting line is at the surface parking lot behind Cherry Street Brewpub.
Free parking is available in various lots mentioned above. Participants are advised to carpool to this event.
Please don’t park in commercial or residential areas on Thanksgiving Day.

⏰ Race Start Times
- 10K Walk/Run: 7:45 AM
- 5K Walk/Run: 8:00 AM
- Kids Fun Run (10 & Under): 9:15 AM
5K runners will be assigned to a Corral based on estimated finish time. Starting Corrals will be pre-assigned and indicated on the race bib.
📝 Registration
- Online registration available through race morning.
- If not sold out: Registrants will receive a finisher medal and race shirt.
- Register early to take advantage of discounts and guarantee your shirt and finisher medal!
- Registration deadlines: Participants guaranteed sweatshirt and medal if registered by November 18th at 11:59 PM.
📦 Packet Pickup
At Big Peach Running Co. - Cumming: 5485 Bethelview Road, Suite 430, Cumming, GA 30040.
- Monday, November 25th from 11 AM to 6 PM
- Tuesday, November 26th from 11 AM to 6 PM
- Wednesday, November 27th from 11 AM to 4 PM
At the Race Location under the Big Peach tent: Race morning from 6:45 AM until 10 minutes before the event start time.
🚻 Restrooms
- Full-service restrooms located inside The Market Hall near the start/finish line.
- Portable toilets at the Big Creek Greenway Halcyon Trailhead facility, approximately a 4-minute walk to/from the starting line.
- For shorter wait times: Use the Big Creek Greenway Halcyon Trailhead facilities.
🏆 Awards
- Overall male/female
- Overall masters male/female
- 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place age group awards in 5-year increments for both the 5K & 10K events.
NOTE: There will be no award ceremony on race day. Awards can be picked up starting Friday, November 29th, or mailed upon request.

Events will be held Rain or Shine. Race officials may cancel, delay, or change the event if deemed unsafe.
