Derby Day 5 miler & 5k

The Derby Day 5 Miler & 5k will take place on May 3rd, 2025, at the D1 Training Facility in Shreveport, LA. Join us for a day of fun and fitness!

💰 Entry Fee

• Until April 11: $25.00
• April 12 - May 3: $30.00
• Race Day: $40.00
• Note: Need to register before midnight April 24 to guarantee your shirt size.

📦 Packet Pickup

• Location: Sportspectrum, 6970 Fern Avenue, Shreveport, LA 71105
• Thursday, May 1: 10:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.
• Friday, May 2: 10:00 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.
• Saturday, May 4: 6:30 a.m. - 7:25 a.m. (at the race site)
• If you do not pick up your packet or have someone else pick up your packet by race time, we will give your race shirt to one of our volunteers. No Refunds, No Packets Mailed.

🏆 Awards

• Overall winners: Male & Female in both the 5 miler & 5k will receive trophies & gift cards of $125 & $75, respectively.
• 1st Place awards: Given to both male and female in each age group.
• 2nd Place awards: Determined by the number of participants in that age group (minimum of 3 required).

👥 Age Groups

• 5 Miler: 1st & 2nd places - 19-under, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70+.
• 5k: 1st & 2nd places - 19-under, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, 80+.

⚠️ Special Notes

• No baby joggers, strollers, bikes, or skate devices: Under RRCA regulations, these are not allowed.
• No dogs allowed: Pets are not permitted on the course.
• Race shirt discount: Save $5.00 on your registration by choosing the "I do not need another race shirt" option at checkout.
