🌳 About the Event

• Location: DeLeon Springs State Park is hosting the annual DELEON DASH 5K Run taking place inside and around the state park!
• Experience: Come run, walk, jog with us through the woods, beside the spring, past the Old Sugar Mill, under the majestic oaks!
• Mission: Our mission is to preserve, interpret, and restore our natural and cultural resources.
• Activities: Enjoy the spring pool, nature trail, wildlife, kayaks, playground, eco-history boat tour, make-your-own-pancakes experience, and more!

💰 Entry Fees

• Early Bird: 03/07 – 06/30 = $30
• Standard Rate: 07/01 – 09/30 = $40
• Last Chance: 10/01 – 11/09 = $45

📝 Registration

Online Pre-Registration is open through Thursday, November 7th at midnight

📅 Schedule of Events

• Early Pickup: Friday, November 8th, 2 - 6 PM at the Christian Family Worship Center just down the road from the park at 265 Ponce DeLeon Blvd.
• Race Day Pickup: Saturday, November 9, 6:15 - 7:20 AM at DeLeon Springs State Park.
• Race Start: Saturday, November 9th, 2024, 7:30 AM
• Capacity: Registration will be capped at 250 entries. Be sure to register soon!

🐾 Participation Note

Please note that pets are not allowed at this event.

🎉 After the Race

• Activities: Choose your activity after the race:
• Swim: Jump into the spring pool for a swim
• Nature Walk: Walk it out on the nature trail
• Pancakes: Make your own pancakes at the Old Sugar Mill ($)

• T-Shirt: Beautiful/unique T-Shirt
• Medal: Finisher's Medal
• Awards: Custom Awards for Age Groups and Overall
• Timing: Chipped-Timed Race

🥤 Food and Water

• Water Stops: There will be Water Stops with cups within the race course and at the Finish Line.
• Post-Race Refreshments: Healthy snacks and complimentary pancake samples from Old Sugar Mill Pancake House.
• Parking: Available inside the park. Arrive before 7:00am for complimentary entrance.

⏱️ Race Timing

The race will be professionally timed at the start and finish by Runner's High Timing and Race Management. Results will be posted at the race and then online immediately following the race on the registration page.
