Juneteenth Freedom Day 5K Run/Walk

🏃‍♂️ Event Overview

Move At Your Own Pace, LLC., in collaboration with the Florida Department of Health, proudly presents the 3rd Annual Juneteenth Freedom Day 5K Run/Walk! This event is a fantastic opportunity to celebrate freedom and liberty during the Juneteenth holiday while promoting cardiovascular health and wellness. Participants will take in the stunning views along the city’s Riverfront Esplanade as they navigate the 5K course. A portion of the proceeds will benefit local organizations that support health initiatives and/or provide scholarships for students!

🕗 Race Information

• Race Start Time: 8:00 am
• Packet Pickup: Friday, June 20th 11:00 am until 6:30 pm at The Running Elements, 260 Daytona Blvd D-410, Daytona Beach, FL 32114
• Race Day Pickup: Saturday, June 21st beginning at 6:30 am at the Riverfront Esplanade

🎉 Race Perks

All participants receive an array of perks including:

• Custom Race Shirt: It will commemorate your participation in the event.
• Finishers Medal: A token of achievement for completing the race.
• Post-Race Party: Celebrate with fellow participants after the race.
• Age Group Awards: Eligibility based on performance.

🏆 Awards Presentation

Following the race will be the Awards Presentation. Award categories are as follows:

• Overall Awards: 1st Place Overall Winner Male
• Overall Awards: 1st Place Overall Winner Female
• Overall Awards: 1st Place Masters Winner Male
• Overall Awards: 1st Place Masters Winner Female

Age Group Awards: 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place for each male and female in the following age ranges:

• 9 and Under
• 10-19
• 20-29
• 30-39
• 40-49
• 50-59
• 60-69
• 70-79
• 80+
