Daytona Beach’s Easter Beach Run

🏖️ Event Overview

This festive, Easter-themed beach run was established in 1967 by the City of Daytona Beach. The race was first held on Easter Sunday to provide an activity for visiting college students and is now the oldest consecutive footrace in the State of Florida.

Participants will enjoy a scenic run on the World’s Most Famous Beach while traveling out and back for the 4-mile race, 2-mile fun run or health walk. Kids are also welcome to participate in the 1/4-mile race, 100 and 50-yard dash.

• 6:15 a.m.: Packet Pickup Opens
• 6:45 a.m.: Line Dance Warm-up
• 7:30 a.m.: 4 mile & 2 mile Start together at the same time
• 8:30 a.m.: Kids Race

Held on the beach at the Bandshell - 70 Boardwalk, Daytona Beach, FL 32118

• 7:30 a.m.: 4 mile Race (all ages, teams welcome)
• 7:30 a.m.: 2 mile Race & Fun Health Walk (all ages)

👶 Kids Races

• 8:30 a.m.: 50 yards (3-5 years)
• 100 yards: (6-7 years)
• 1/4 mile: (8-9 years)

💲 Fees

• 2-mile or 4-mile Race Registration: $35 - Seniors 60 & Over $30
• After March 20th: $40 - Seniors 60 & Over $35
• Pre-registration: Youth 9 & Under - $20
• CASH NOT ACCEPTED ON RACE DAY

• April 17, 2025: Humana, 1500 Beville Road, Ste. 405, Daytona Beach, FL 32114, 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
• April 18, 2025: Vitamin Shoppe, 2266 W. International Speedway Blvd., Daytona Beach, FL 32114, 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. or until demand subsides.
• Race day pickup: 6:15 a.m. at Race Site - 70 Boardwalk, Daytona Beach, FL 32118 - at the Bandshell

🏅 Awards

• 2025 custom “finisher” medals for the first 800 registered runners and walkers completing the race.
• 4 Mile Age Groups: Top Overall Male & Top Overall Female - 1st, 2nd and 3rd male and female in each age group.
• 2 Mile Age Groups: Top Overall Male & Top Overall Female, 1st, 2nd and 3rd male and female in each age group.
• Each “Kids Race” participant receives a participant medal!

🅿️ Important Parking Information

Parking is available in the Ocean Walk parking lot for a fee. The cost to park in the garage is $5 per hour or $15 for the day.
