The Glass Jug Beer Lab and Bull City Running Co. are proud to present the 4th annual Bull City Beer Mile on Sunday, April 26, 2025 in Downtown Durham's Central Park.
🏃♂️ What is a Beer Mile?
- Race Type: A 1-mile drinking race combining running and speed drinking.
- Course: Taking place around Central Park, which is not flat!
- Process: Consume a 12-oz beer before each lap around the park, repeating this for a total of four laps.
- Age Requirement: Competitors must be 21 years old or older.
🎁 Participation Perks
- Included: Four 12-ounce beers for consumption during the race.
- Swag: Every runner receives Beer Mile [insert new swag here]!
- Optional Add-ons: New Beer Mile swag like quick-dry hats, headbands, socks, shirts, koozies, and more!
- Awards: Top finishers receive Bull City Beer Mile medals that double as bottle openers and sponsor prize packs!
🎉 Party in the Park
- Event Timeline: Heats from 2:30pm until 4:45pm, party continues until 7:00pm.
- Entertainment: DJ keeping the atmosphere lively.
- Food Options: Two food trucks will be on-site.
- Refreshments: The Glass Jug mobile beer trailer will provide all the drinks!

Parking will be available at the Durham Center Parking Garage at the corner of Foster and W Morgan St., as well as at the Farmer's Market lot on Morris Street.
