👟 Race Registration Information
Registration Deadline: YOU MUST REGISTER BY 8/15/25 TO SUBMIT MEMORIAL NAMES FOR SHIRTS/SIGNS, GUARANTEE A RACE SHIRT. We will not accept shirt sizes after this date!
Shirt Purchase: If you are registering after this date and would like a shirt, you can check with our packet pickup committee AFTER the awards are given out and purchase a race shirt for $20 if any extras are available.
Early Bird Discount: THANK YOU to those who took advantage of the EARLY BIRD REGISTRATION to save $5!!!! It helps make our race planning easier and saves you money!
Fees Increase: Registration fees will increase again on race day!
📝 Memorial Name Submission
Deadline: AUGUST 15, 2025 IS THE DEADLINE TO SUBMIT MEMORIAL NAMES AND ORDER SHIRTS THIS YEAR! Due to planning the shirt design and printing, we cannot make any exceptions!
Spelling Check: Please be sure to double check your spelling before you submit your registration!
Memorial Signs: Memorial items may include a "WE REMEMBER THEM" sign to honor your loved one that is displayed throughout the course.
Recycling Signs: We will recycle the signs each year to save on printing costs so, we ask that you please do not take signs with you from the run. You are welcome to take pictures!
📦 Packet Pickup
Location: The Amelia Center - 1513 4th Ave S - Birmingham, AL 35233
Date/Time: Thursday, September 11th 10 am - 4:30 pm
Single Pickup: We encourage you to designate one person per team to pick up your race packets.
Confirmation: Please text 205-603-6049 with your team name (or list of participants) and time you would like to pick up packets. Confirm before coming!
🎉 Event Overview
Location: We are VERY excited to host our 17th memorial run/fundraiser at Homestead Hollow in Springville, AL.
Community Support: This year, funds raised will help The Amelia Center provide community training and guidance for those who have experienced trauma.
Past Contributions: Over the past several years, the race helped fund an amazing renovation at The Amelia Center.
Support for Families: The Amelia Center has been providing services for over 25 years and this renovation was much needed.
Arrival Time: Plan to arrive no later than 7:30! We may need to block off the entrance at this time for everyone's safety.
Schedule: 7am same day registration and packet pickup, 8:00am 5K START, followed by the FUN RUN START.

5K Awards: 1st, 2nd and 3rd places in gender/age categories.
Fun Run Awards: 1st, 2nd and 3rd places.
Fundraisers: TOP 3 ONLINE Fundraisers - be sure to set up your fundraiser page.
Team Award: Largest team (pre-registered only).

🌿 Health Guidelines
You must stay home if you show any symptoms of illness or have tested positive for COVID within 5 days of the event.
You are required to wear a mask if you have been exposed to a confirmed case of COVID within 10 days of the race.
Mask are welcome, but not required.
We will have hand sanitizer at the race. However, please help us by practicing basic health and hygiene practices like handwashing!
