🦃 About the Louisville Turkey Trot

• Annual Event: The 11th Annual AdventHealth Avista Louisville Turkey Trot was created as a means to collect food and donations for our local food bank, Community Food Share.
• Community Focus: It aims to create an incredible community event to celebrate the holiday and spend time with our loved ones in an active, joyful manner.
• Public Benefit: As the event grew, it became a public benefit corporation to generate social and public good.
• Sustainable Operations: The organization operates in a responsible and sustainable manner.

🕘 Time & Location

• Date: November 28, 2024
• Race Start: 9:00 a.m.
• Where: Front Street and Spruce Street (951 Spruce Street, Louisville, CO 80027)

✅ Do I Need to Register?!

• Registration Required: Yes! Your entry and any other food donation support Community Food Share, which works to eliminate hunger in Boulder and Broomfield Counties.
• Impact of Donations: For every $1 donated, Community Food Share can provide $6 worth of groceries!
• Previous Success: Last year’s race raised more than $55,000 for Community Food Share.
• Entry Fee: Adult entries are only $25 and kids and seniors entries are just $8!

🎉 Pre-Race Stretching by Soul Tree Yoga

• Mindfulness Stretching: Join us before the race in the parking lot of Louisville Public Library for mindfulness stretching.
• Partner: This activity is provided by our partner, Soul Tree Yoga!

🏃‍♂️ Course

• Start Location: The start is at Front Street and Pine Street.
• Finish Location: The finish is on South Street and Front Street.
• Parking: Parking is free in Downtown Louisville.
• Courteous Parking: Please be courteous to local businesses and residents.

🍻 Post Race Celebrations

• Refreshments: Enjoy fantastic music and free refreshments, including craft beers.
• Local Partners: Refreshments from Liquid Mechanics Brewing, Rocky Mountain Tap & Garden, Gravity Brewing & 4 Noses Brewing Company, and more.
• ID Required: Non-Alcoholic beer and hard ciders available for those 21+ (with ID).
• Thank You: Thank you to our wonderful partners for providing beverages!

📦 Packet Pick-Up

• No Packet Pick-Up: This is a non-competitive fun run, so there isn’t any packet pick-up.
• Non-competitive: We don't have bibs or chip timing, just a clock at the finish line.

👶 Strollers

• Strollers Welcome: Strollers are welcome, and no need to register the child in the stroller.

🐶 Dogs

• Policy: No dogs are allowed at the Louisville Turkey Trot due to insurance policy.
• Sorry Pups: Your dogs will miss you, but we just can't allow them at the event.

📝 Late Registration

• Open Registration: Registration for the event will remain open throughout the weekend.
• QR Codes: There will be QR codes at the event for on-site registration.

🚗 Parking

• Utilize Lots: Please utilize the parking lots on this map.
• Street Parking: Additional street parking is available in-town.
