π About the Louisville Turkey Trot
Event Purpose: The 11th Annual AdventHealth Avista Louisville Turkey Trot was created as a means to collect food and donations for our local food bank, Community Food Share and to create an incredible community event to celebrate the holiday and spend time with our loved ones in an active, joyful manner.
Public Benefit: As the event grew, the Louisville Turkey Trot became a public benefit corporation, which is a corporation created to generate social and public good, and to operate in a responsible and sustainable manner.

β Do I Need to Register?!
Registration Required: Yes! Your entry and any other food donation go to support Community Food Share, whose mission is to eliminate hunger in Boulder and Broomfield Counties through engagement, collaboration, and leadership.
Impact: For every $1 donated, Community Food Share can provide $6 worth of groceries!
Last Year's Success: Last yearβs race raised more than $55,000 for Community Food Share and we hope to raise even more this year!
Entry Fee: To make a bigger impact for Community Food Share, we charge an entry fee to be donated.
π΅ Cost & Accessibility
Affordable Entries: Adult entries are only $25 and kids and seniors entries are just $8!
Low Costs: We keep costs low by eliminating bibs, t-shirts, and chip timing.
Complimentary Beverages: Complimentary coffee and hot chocolate for all, and local beers, NA beers, and hard ciders for those 21+ (with ID).
Community Focus: This event truly is about spending time with your loved ones and supporting the community!
πββοΈ Pre-Race Stretching by Soul Tree Yoga
Mindfulness Stretching: Join us before the race in the parking lot of Louisville Public Library for mindfulness stretching by our partner, Soul Tree Yoga!
π Course
Start & Finish: The start is at Front Street and Pine Street, and the finish is on South Street and Front Street.
Parking: Parking is free in Downtown Louisville, but please be courteous to local businesses and residents.
π Post Race Celebrations
Music & Refreshments: Join us after the race for fantastic music and free refreshments.
Local Beverages: Enjoy craft beers from several local breweries and delicious hard ciders (21+, ID required and race entry).
Hot Drinks: Coffee and hot cocoa from Ziggi's will also be available!
π¦ Packet Pick-Up
No Packet Pick-Up: There isnβt one! This is a non-competitive fun run put on as a fundraiser for Community Food Share.
No Timing: We don't have bibs or chip timing.
Finish Line: There is a clock at the finish line to give an overall time, but this event is a philanthropic community supported function.

Welcome: Strollers are welcome (No need to register the child in the stroller).
πΆ Dogs
Not Allowed: Unfortunately, no Dogs are allowed at the Louisville Turkey Trot: we love dogs, but we canβt allow them at the event per our insurance policy.
π Late Registration
Ongoing Registration: Registration for the event will remain open throughout the weekend, so please register.
QR Codes: There will be QR codes at the event to register if you donβt get the chance ahead of time.
