5th Annual Mangum Marathon & 1/2 Marathon

This year we will have a Port-A-John!

⏱️ Race Timelines

• Marathon Limit: 7-hour time limit for the marathon
• 1/2 Marathon Limit: 5-hour time limit for the 1/2
• Timed Events: Both events will be timed
• Finisher Medals: Medals for all finishers, Custom Engraved Tumblers for top 10 men and women

🏅 Awards

*If Registrations are over 50, Awards will be changed to top 2 Male and Female in age categories!*

🏞️ Course Information

• Starting Point: The course will start at the Dog Pen outside of Ellerbe, NC
• Course Details: Run 2-miles, take a right, run 11.1 miles turnaround and return to the finish
• Challenge: Famous climb to Bethel Church at around the 22-mile mark
• 1/2 Marathon Turnaround: Turn around at the 6.55 mark

The closest address to the Start/Finish is 869 Holly Grove Church Rd., Ellerbe, NC 28338.

The race is at the intersection of Carthage Creek Road and Holly Grove Church Road in Richmond County.

🚰 Course Support

• Support Level: The course will have MINIMAL support.
• Supplies: Make sure you are equipped with all needed supplies.
• Water Stops: Water drop spots throughout, two manned water stops at the 6.5 mile mark and Half turnaround
• Shirts and Medals: No port-a-johns available, participants receive a long sleeve PREMIUM Technical shirt

Race shirts and medals are not guaranteed on race day for registrations after 1/6 but will be available after race (1 week processing time).
