🦃 Welcome to the University City Turkey Trot!
Join us on Thanksgiving Day at 8AM for the 11th annual University City Turkey Trot!! A huge thanks to all the participants who have supported this awesome community race through the years! Join fellow runners, walkers, and our fans on Thanksgiving Day for a 5k walk/run designed for all of University City to enjoy! After the race, cool down and indulge in a post-race mini feast featuring food, drinks, games and music.

- 5k Event: A 5k run/walk suitable for all ages.
- Fun Run: For kids of all ages, adding extra excitement!
- Costume Contest: Prizes for the best costumes are awarded!
- Food Drive: Participants are encouraged to bring non-perishable items to support those in need.
👕 Tee Shirt & Registration
Our awesome turkey tee shirt is always a hit! Please register early — by Friday, November 8, 2024 by noon — to ensure you get that awesome tee shirt in your size. Avoid disappointment and register early! Every participant is guaranteed a medal. Any extra shirt inventory will be distributed on a first come, first serve basis upon request.

Sickle Cell Partners of the Carolinas (SCPOC) is a non-profit 501c (3) tax exempt organization that exists to "partner" with anyone working to make a difference in the lives of patients and families affected by Sickle Cell Disease. The University City Turkey Trot benefits patients and families affected by this hereditary illness.

Our mission is simple: we seek to provide a network of support for patients and families affected by Sickle Cell Anemia: to raise awareness and educate the community: and to advocate for a cure.
