The River Hills/Lake Wylie Lions Club (RHLW Lions Club) is proud to host the annual Diabetes Run for Life on Saturday, April 26, 2025.
💰 Support Type I Diabetes
- Proceeds: One hundred percent of the net proceeds support The Lions Club's efforts on behalf of Type I Childhood Diabetes.
- Camp Sponsorship: Funds raised allow the Lions Club to sponsor children with Type I Diabetes to go to Camp Sweet Escape.
- Purpose: The camp is designed to help children understand how to live and thrive with this frightening disease.
- Community Impact: River Hills / Lake Wylie Lions Club supports over 30 charities through various events.
🏞️ Event Highlights
- Race Options: The event includes a 5K and 10K Runs, and a 1-Mile Family Fun Walk.
- Location: The races will be held in the lakeside community of River Hills in Lake Wylie, S.C.
- Challenging Course: Runners will enjoy rolling hills, tree-lined roads, and beautiful lake views.
- Family Friendly: The walk features stroller-friendly sidewalks to ensure an enjoyable day for families.
