🏃‍♀️ Miles 4 Maryville Run/Walk Overview

The Miles 4 Maryville 10K, 5K, and 1 Mile Run/Walk is in its 13th year. All three races will be in person. The 10K will begin at 7:00 AM. The 5K will begin at 7:30 AM. The 1 Mile Run/Walk will begin at 8:30 AM. Shirts are guaranteed to all registrants through August 14 at noon. A second shirt order will be made on August 26.

Miles 4 Maryville is a fundraising event for the Maryville City Schools Foundation which provides the ongoing enrichment of educational programs for all students in Maryville City Schools. 🏁 Course Description

The 10K and 5K courses are USATF certified. Both the 10K and 5K are single loop courses with some rolling hills and fast flats, traveling on area roads, greenway, and sidewalks.

• The 10K begins at 7:00 AM (gun start)
• The 5K begins at 7:30 AM (gun start)
• The 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk will begin at 8:00 AM

Note: Most roads are not closed, but we will have course monitors to try and halt traffic for runners. Runners should be aware that vehicles COULD be on the course. RUNNERS ONLY ALLOWED ON THE 10K COURSE.

📝 Registration Information

Online registration is available through 8:00 PM Friday, August 22, for all events. Guaranteed shirt cut-off is August 8th at noon! Shirts and bibs must be picked up in advance of the race.

👕 T-Shirts and Hats

High quality t-shirts guaranteed for all who register by NOON on August 8, 2025.

1 trucker hat per participant. 2 trucker hats per household. While supplies last.

💰 Cash Prizes

For 10K and 5K races, cash prizes will be awarded to the overall top three male and female finishers, and overall top male and female Masters finishers. Prizes will be awarded once final results are determined and winners will be contacted with instructions where to pick up their prize.

• 5K overall male and female: 1st place-$100, 2nd place-$75, 3rd place-$50
• 10K overall male and female: 1st place-$200, 2nd place-$150, 3rd place-$100
• 5K Masters (Age 35-49) male and female: 1st place-$50
• 10K Masters (Age 35-49) male and female: 1st place-$100
• 5K Grand Masters (Age 50+) male and female: 1st place-$50
• 10K Grand Masters (Age 50+) male and female: 1st place-$100

⏱️ Timing

This event is timed electronically with a timing chip attached to your race bib. Your race number/chip is programmed to coincide with your individual race number. During the event, you will cross mats that will record your time from your disposable race bib. Please do not BEND, TEAR OR ALTER your race number. Runners must wear the bibs on the FRONT of their person, and must wear the bib number associated with their name.

Timing services are provided by Knoxville Track Club. Results will be available at www.ktc.org and www.RunSignUp.com.

⚠️ Safety and Course Etiquette

Aid and water stations will be provided along the course and at the finish line this year. Because you will be running on area roads and sidewalks, the use of headphones and baby strollers are discouraged and participants do so at their own risk. Bicycles, roller blades, and pets are prohibited. Note: because this is an open course, there may be traffic on the roads. Parents of young children should run with their kids. ONLY RUNNERS ARE ALLOWED ON THE 10K COURSE.
