🏃‍♂️ PJP Run for Parkinson's - Overview

We are back with a Run for Parkinson's that is BIGGER and BETTER than ever!

• Event Date: Saturday, October 4th, 2025
• Location: The Village Green/Farragut, Farragut, TN
• Health Exhibition: Enjoy our Health Exhibition and participate in our Movement Program.
• History: In 2015, PJ Parkinson's Support created its first walk-a-thon. The 5K run was added in 2019, and this year we are excited to offer a 10K run!

🤝 Community Involvement

Once again, Parkinson's Support Groups from across East Tennessee are coming together to support an event focused on increasing Parkinson's awareness and what is being done locally to help those with Parkinson's and their families: we will be united for the cause!

• Goal: The goal of our 2024 Run for Parkinson's is to help people better understand this progressive, degenerative nervous system disorder.
• Support: Offering patients and their families a caring environment full of support.
• Join Us: Participate in both the race and the movement program.

🏅 Registration Information

EARLY REGISTRATION - $30 5K Run | $40 10K Run [$5 increase after 8/31/2025] includes:

• Swag Bag: "The Greatest" Swag Bag of items donated by our sponsors.
• Runner Raffle: Ticket for the Runner Raffle.
• Race T-shirt: Race T-shirt for participants (guaranteed with early registration).
• Prizes: Prizes and Medals for Winners of Each Group, sponsored by: Fleet Feet.

🕺 Movement Program

Movement Program - $25 fee includes:

• Registration: Registration is open until October 3rd.
• Start Time: Movement Program will start at 10:00 am at the old Steinmart building where the race starts.
• T-shirt: T-shirt (guaranteed with registration before September 15).

🍽️ Community Lunch

FREE lunch for our Parkinson's community will be provided at 11:30 am. Sponsored by Supernus.

📅 Additional Race Information

Additional/optional T-shirts can be pre-ordered with online registration for $15. A limited number of t-shirts will be available for purchase at the event for $20.

Race Packet Pick-up: Avoid the lines on race day and pick up your race packet on 9/20 from 4:00-6:30 PM at Fleet Feet, 11619 Parkside Dr.

🏆 Awards & Prizes

Awards & Prizes will be given to the winners of the following categories:

• Top 3 Overall: Male and Female Runners.
• Top 3: Male and Female Runners in each category.
• Category winners: Will each receive a beautiful lanyard medal!
