🕖 Race Schedule

• Ultramarathon Course (50K): Begins at 6:00am
• Medium Distance Course (20K-25K): Starts at 9:00am
• Short Course (10K): Starts at 10:00am

🏃‍♂️ Course Details

The race will offer three courses: a Short Course (10K-ish), a Medium Distance Course (20K-25K) and a challenging Ultramarathon Course (50K) for the more experienced.

🛤️ Short Course (10K-ish)

• Challenge: Possibly the most challenging 10K in PA (based on the fastest and average finish times).
• Features: Includes Tree-odge, Devils Hairpin, Throat Punch Hill, and Soul Sucker Slopes!
• Elevation: Over 1350 feet of climbing.
• Aid Station: Located at the base of Throat Punch Hill at 3 miles.

🏔️ Medium Distance Course (20K-25K)

• Challenge: A doozy that retains many of the challenges from the marathon.
• Gnarly Sections: Includes Blister Blaster, Teal is Real up Deep Hollow Notch, I'll Nettle Do This Again, and I Need a Sherpa!
• Elevation: Almost 3500 feet of climbing or 7000 feet of elevation change.
• Aid Stations: Three stations at Chappelle's Field (Mile 4.6), Ravens Rest (Mile 7.2), and Heavens Hairpin (Mile 11.1).

⛰️ Ultramarathon

• Challenge: Designed for mountain-goats, requiring repeated ascents of Blue Knob Mountain.
• Course Type: The 50K is an ultramarathon that includes highlights from both the medium and 10K courses.
• Elevation: Intense climbing challenges await runnnners.

• Highest Race: At over 3,100 feet above sea level, it is Pennsylvania’s highest race.
• Options: Featuring 10K, half-marathon, or 50K options, all more technical (rocky) than the Dirty Kiln Trail Race.
• Lodging: Available at Blue Knob All-Seasons Resort, just feet from the start and finish.
• Inclusions: Famous swag package and post-race food and beer included with entry fee.
