4th Annual 5K Firecracker Run

Thank you for your support of HELP of Beaufort.

Join Help of Beaufort for our annual FIRECRACKER 5K Race on the morning of July 4th in Downtown Beaufort. Starting at 8am on Friday, July 4, 2024, on Bay & Newcastle Streets. Run through historic downtown Beaufort and across the famous Woods bridge following a certified 5K course.

📅 Registration Details

• Packet Pickup: Available at Grounded Running located at 2139 Boundary Street, Ste 108, Beaufort, SC 29902 on Saturday, June 28th from 10am until 4pm.
• T-shirt Availability: Sizes not guaranteed for registrations after June 1, 2024.
• Virtual Participation: Virtual participants can receive a t-shirt for an additional $15.00, mailed to them.
• Same Day Registration: Accepted on race day from 7:00 a.m. to 7:40 a.m. ONLY.

🏆 Awards and Categories

Age categories: under 12, 13-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+

• Awards: Prizes awarded to overall top three male and female and top two male and female in age divisions.
• In-Person Awards: Only for in-person participants: awards will begin PROMPTLY at 8:45am.

🐾 Event Guidelines

• Pet Friendly: Event is pet and stroller friendly: Flexi-type leashes not allowed, pets must be on a standard 4-6ft lead.
• Course Details: Start/finish at Freedom Mall, cross Woods Memorial Bridge to Lady's Island, down Meridian Rd to Youmans Drive, and double back to Freedom Mall.

❗ Important Notes

• Refund Policy: Registration and shipping fees are NOT REFUNDABLE. Event may transfer to a virtual format if unable to host in person.
• T-shirt Distribution: All racers are eligible for the t-shirt giveaway: shirts given at packet pick-up or on race day.
