Date: May 17, 2025

3.2-Mile Beaufort River Swim, 1-Mile Swim and 5K Road Race after either swim distance, or do a relay. Something for everyone!

Beneficiary: ALL PROCEEDS BENEFIT THE WARDLE FAMILY YMCA'S LEARN TO SWIM PROGRAM!

Location: Meet at the downtown Beaufort marina parking lot.
Check-in: Begins at 5:30 am.
Swim Start Times: 3.2-mile competitive swim at 7:30 am, Fun Swim at 8:00 am.
Transportation: YMCA staff will transport swimmers to starting points.

3.2 Mile Swimmers must swim up to, onto and run/walk up the boat ramp and over the timing mat to finish the race!

Swim Course: The swim will be WITH the tide with large yellow buoys marking the route.
Facilities: Portable showers, small towels and water available at the swim finish line.
Awards: Award presentation will be held 2 hours after the swim start.
Participants: Must be at least 13 years old for 3.2-mile swim and 10 years old for the 1-mile swim.

Enjoy the scenic 5K route along the waterfront, crossing the Woods swing bridge.

Run Distance: 5K starting after the swim events.
Race Bags: All participants will receive a race bag!
Finish Line: Keep going past the swim finish area to find the run finish area.
Safety: A fleet of kayakers will monitor the course for safety.

Wet-suits are allowed but may make you ineligible for awards.

Entry Fee: Non-refundable, includes t-shirt, swim cap, and trophy for winners.
Awards Categories: Top finishers in each swim and run category.
Last Bus: For 1 Mile Swim leaves at 7:30 am.
