🏃‍♂️ Swing Bridge Run Details

The Swing Bridge Run will be on Saturday, November 2nd, 2024. Join Holy Trinity Classical Christian School in cooperation with the City of Beaufort for a 5K Run and All Ages Bridge Walk through historic downtown Beaufort and across the Woods bridge on a USATF certified 5k course.

🏆 Part of a Series

• Race Series: The Swing Bridge Run is part of the Beaufort Triple Crown, a three 5k race series.
• Special Awards: Participants who register for the Beaufort Triple Crown and complete all three races will be eligible for special series awards for best combined time.
• Registration Deadline: The registration bundle is only available until October 5th, 2024.

🚶‍♀️ Walking Option

• No Timed Walk: Don't like to run? Support our event by registering as a walker. Registered Walkers will turn around at the end of the bridge before Meridian Road.
• T-Shirt Perks: Registered Walkers will receive a t-shirt with registration.
• Packet Pickup: T-shirts must be picked up at packet pickup - but will not be issued a race bib.

🙏 Sunrise Prayer Gathering

• Time: The race will be preceded by a Sunrise Prayer Gathering at 7:15 am under the pavilion at the Henry C. Chambers Waterfront Park.
• Community Welcome: All are invited to join. Please bring a chair or a blanket to sit on.
• Intent: Join us as we pray for the students and families of our Beaufort community, as well as for Holy Trinity's sister school Good Shepherd Academy in South Sudan.

📅 Pre Race Prep

• Registration Cutoff: Online registration closes on Wednesday, October 30th at midnight.
• Packet Pickup: Registration, race packet, hoodie and t-shirt pick-up will be held on Friday, November 1st from 10am until 5pm at Grounded Running.
• Race Day Pickup: We will also have race bib pick-up, hoodie and t-shirt pick-up on race day starting at 7am.
• On-Site Registration: Race day registration will be available on Saturday, November 2nd from 7:15am-7:45am in downtown Beaufort.

👕 T-Shirts and Merchandise

• Early Registration: To ensure the size you desire, please register early. We cannot guarantee a t-shirt or your size preference for any participant that registers AFTER OCTOBER 18TH
• Hoodie Purchase: Swing Bridge Run Hoodies are available for purchase until October 18th.
• Pickup: Hoodies can be picked up Friday, November 1st from 10am until 5pm at Grounded Running or at the race on Saturday.
• Shirt Policy: All shirts MUST BE PICKED UP at packet pickup or on race day. Any shirts not picked up by the end of the race will be made available for re-sale. NO EXCEPTIONS, NO REFUNDS and NO DELIVERIES!!

⏰ Day of Schedule

• 7:15-7:45 am: Sunrise Community Prayer Gathering. Please bring a chair or blanket to sit on.
• 7:00-7:45 am: Day of Race Packet Pickup and Race Day Registration.
• 8:00 am: 5K Start.
• 8:20 am: All Ages Bridge walk starts, walkers fall in behind runners.
• 8:45 am: Award Ceremony.
• 9:00 am: Enjoy your morning in downtown Beaufort.

🐾 Additional Info

• Family Friendly: Event is dog friendly and stroller friendly - please fall in the back of the line behind the runners.
• No Bicycles: No bicycles allowed.
• 5K Course: Start/finish line at Freedom Mall down Bay Street cross Woods Memorial Bridge to Lady's Island down Meridian Rd to Youmans Drive and double back on same route to Freedom Mall.

🏅 Race Day Awards

• 5k Run Awards: Top 3 overall male & female awards as well as age groups awarded to top 3 male & female: 8-12, 13-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+.
• Inclusivity: The race is open for runners and walkers of all abilities.
• Awards Ceremony: The awards ceremony will begin immediately following the race.
