Described by Runner’s World writer Hal Higdon as “One of the most scenic 10K’s I’ve ever run”, the River City Rat Race is a 10K Race and 5K Race through the autumn parks and riverfront of downtown Fort Wayne, Indiana. The race is fun and family-friendly, and benefits the local YMCA.

- Shirt Type: Long sleeved for 2025. Color TBD.
- Availability: Shirts will be first come, first served.
- Sizes: Sizes are not guaranteed.
📝 Registration Details
- Registration Requirement: YOU NEED TO REGISTER FOR THE RACE YOU WANT TO RUN.
- Map Change: The map is different this year, so please only register for the race you want to finish.
📍 Packet Pick-up
- Date & Time: Saturday, Oct. 18th, from 4-6:00pm.
- Location: Central Branch YMCA, 1020 S. Barr Street.
- Race Day Pick-up: At Freimann Square from 11:00-1:00pm, 201 E. Main St.
💵 Pricing
- Pre-race Day Registration: Available on Oct. 18th for $50 at the downtown YMCA.
- Race Day Registration: $60.
🏁 Race Start and Finish
Race start is 200 E. Main St. - Finish line is at the Old Fort!
