10th ANNIVERSAY 5K RUN & WALK With The DOGS

🎉 Join the 10th Anniversary of the 5K Run & Walk With The Dogs!

Get ready for an exciting community event supporting the Animal Rescue Foundation (ARF). On Sunday, May 18, 2025, at Memorial Park in Beacon, NY, animal lovers and athletes of all ages will lace up and hit the pavement to make a difference, with 100% of the proceeds going directly toward rescuing and caring for animals in need.

🐶 Race Details

• Chipped Timing: The races are timed with chipped running bibs.
• Kids Fun Run: 1K KIDS FUN RUN (Ages 3-10) – A fun-filled race where every child earns a finisher prize. (Dogs are not permitted in the Kids Fun Run.)
• Main Event: 5K RUN & WALK WITH THE DOGS – Run or walk alongside your leashed pup in this heartwarming main event. (Kids 3 and under participate for free!)

• 9 AM: Check-in & Registration
• 9:50 AM: Dog Costume Contest: Most Original & Most Hilarious Costume
• 10 to 10:15 AM: 1K Kids Fun Run
• Immediately After: 5K Run & Walk with the Dogs

🚨 Important Information

The event is held Rain or Shine and is non-refundable. Strollers are ONLY allowed on the 5K race course. Dogs that are non-aggressive toward people and other animals are welcomed on the 5K race course. All dogs must be current on their vaccinations and always leashed. Retractable leashes, including bungy-style leashes, are prohibited at any time. Each adult participant may be accompanied by one (1) dog and that dog will receive an event dog tag.
