🐾 Join the 10th Annual ARF 5K Run & Walk With The Dogs!

Get ready for an exciting community event supporting the Animal Rescue Foundation (ARF). On Sunday, May 18, 2025, at Memorial Park in Beacon, NY, animal lovers, and athletes of all ages lace up and hit the pavement to make a difference—with 100% of proceeds going directly toward rescuing and caring for animals in need.

🎉 Event Highlights:

• 1K Kids Fun Run: Ages 3-10 – A fun-filled race where every child earns a finisher prize. (Dogs are not permitted in the Kids Fun Run.)
• 5K Run & Walk With The Dogs: Run or walk alongside your leashed pup in this heartwarming main event. (Kids 3 and under participate for free!)
• Post-Race Fun: Stick around for awards, music, games, face painting, vendor exhibits, raffles, and more!
• Fundraising: Participants who fundraise can earn exclusive prizes for reaching their fundraising goals.

📅 Schedule of Events:

• 9 AM: Check-in & Registration
• 9:50 AM: Dog Costume Contest: Most Original & Most Hilarious Costume
• 10 to 10:15 AM: 1K Kids Fun Run
• Immediately After: 5K Run & Walk with the Dogs

🏅 Registration Fees:

• 5K RUN & WALK: Early Bird Special Rate: $30
• Regular Rate: $35 – Starts April 1st
• Race Day: $40
• 1K KIDS FUN RUN: $15 – Early Bird Special Rate, $20 – Regular Rate Starts April 1st, $30 – Race Day

🏆 Event Swag:

All participants who register by April 30th will receive a 10th Annual Commemorative item and a Custom Dog Tag for their four-legged companions. Sign up early to guarantee your swag.

⚠️ Important Information:

• Rain or Shine: The event is held rain or shine and is non-refundable.
• Strollers: Strollers are allowed on the 5K race course ONLY.
• Dog Policy: Dogs that are non-aggressive toward people and other animals are welcomed on the 5K race course. All dogs must be current on their vaccinations and always leashed. Retractable leashes, including bungee-style leashes, are prohibited. Each adult participant may be accompanied by one (1) dog, which will receive an event dog tag.
