🌸 The Ford Lilac Run Overview

The 2025 Ford Lilac Run 5K & 10K will take place on the FINAL day of the Lilac Festival at Highland Park. Both in-person and virtual race experiences will be offered! Join us for the 46th annual race on Sunday, May 18th, for the in-person Ford Lilac Run 5K, 10K, and Tim Hortons Timbits Trot! Choose to run or walk in one, two (Double Dash), or all three events (Double Dash + Tim Hortons Timbits Trot)! If you register for the Double Dash and participate in both the 5K & 10K, you will receive a Lilac pint glass as part of your registration ticket and a custom medal slider.

🕒 Race Time

• 5K: Begins at 8:00 AM (all 5K participants need to be done by 9:20 AM)
• 10K: Begins at 9:30 AM (all 10K participants need to be done by 11:20 AM)
• Donut Dash: Begins at 11:30 AM

📍 Location

• Venue: Highland Park - the site of the Lilac Festival

📦 Packet Pick Up

• Friday, May 16th: 10 AM - 7 PM at Medved Running and Walking Outfitters (3400 Monroe Ave, Rochester, NY 14618)
• Saturday, May 17th: 10 AM - 5 PM at Medved Running and Walking Outfitters (3400 Monroe Ave, Rochester, NY 14618)
• Sunday, May 18th: Starting at 7 AM - 11 AM at the Lilac Festival, location off of Highland Ave across from St. Johns. Just west of the start line in the grass area.

🎁 Participation Perks

• T-shirt: Unisex Ford Lilac Run t-shirt - Register by April 30th to be guaranteed a shirt!! Only limited quantities available after that!
• Finisher medal: All participants will receive a finisher medal.
• Timed event: The event will be timed.
• After Party: The Ford Lilac Run After Party - DJ music & post-race food.

🏆 Awards

• Age groups: 14 & under, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80+
• Awards: Given to Male and Female, 1st - 3rd in each age group for both the 5K and 10K.

🍩 Tim Hortons Timbits Trot

Who doesn’t love donuts!?!? Participate in the trot, which is a 1-mile fun run down Highland Ave. Run a half-mile, get Tim Hortons timbits, and run back. Register by April 30th to be guaranteed a Tim Hortons Timbits Trot t-shirt. The perfect fun run to do with the family!

💰 Proceeds

The Ford Lilac Run benefits Holy Childhood, which prepares children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities for maximum independence and integration in the community through individualized programs and services. They are dedicated to serving our people in an atmosphere of dignity and compassion.

🏃‍♂️ Training

Members of The Medved Endurance Project receive $10.00 off their race registration.
