CHASE THE SHADOW! FREE FUN RUN

🏃‍♂️ Event Overview

Chase the Shadow is a free, untimed fun run/walk/roll that is open to participants of all fitness levels.

• Registration Limit: Registration is limited to a crazy 88 participants.
• Location: West Swinney Park, Fort Wayne, IN.

🚦 How Does It Work?

• Finish Time: Just finish the 5k route before The Shadow.
• Guided Route: Participants will follow a bicycle lead on a route that follows the Fort Wayne Trails network.
• Traffic Safety: The route will be clearly marked, but we won’t have police presence so be sure to follow traffic laws at road crossings!
• Awards: Fun trophies go to the first place male and female finishers and first place boy and girl (under 13) finishers.

⏰ Race Day Schedule

• The Shadow Launch: 1:00 PM.
• Our Launch: 1:05 PM.
• Awards Ceremony: Begins at 2:00 PM.
• Dress Code: Put on your best ninja suit, cool tuxedo T-shirt, or simply a black T-shirt.

🎽 Fun Run Details

• Attire Encouragement: Chase the Shadow is the only time that we encourage walkers and runners to dress in black.
• Timing: Chase the Shadow is an untimed fun run.
• Race Clock: We will have a race clock on site if you want to see your time.
• Social Sharing: Be sure to record your activity with your smartphone or your fitness wearable and then share your adventure on social media.
