The Presidio Half Marathon, 10K, and 5K Fun Run & Walk is more than just a race—it’s a chance to change a child’s life. Hosted by The Guardsmen, a San Francisco based 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, this event isn't just about the breathtaking views of the Presidio and the Golden Gate Bridge—this event raises crucial funds to provide underserved Bay Area youth with outdoor adventures and educational opportunities.

Whether you're aiming for a personal best or enjoying a scenic run through the Presidio and Golden Gate Bridge, your participation directly supports local kids in need. Cross the finish line knowing you’ve made a difference—and celebrate with a well-earned pancake breakfast, drinks, and a lively post-race expo.

Not running? Be part of the excitement! Cheer on family, friends, coworkers, and other participants, with a spectator ticket or sign up a fundraising team to extend your impact even further.

📅 Race Day Schedule

Start/Finish Line: Crissy Field, San Francisco

Race Start Times:

🕖 8:00 AM – Half Marathon (13.1 Miles)
🕣 8:30 AM – 10K (6.2 Miles)
🕘 9:00 AM – 5K (3.1 Miles)

Bag Check: Opens at 6:00 AM at Crissy Field.

Where & When:

Saturday: Sports Basement – 10:00 AM - 4:00 PM
Sunday (Race Day): Crissy Field – 6:00 AM - 7:45 AM

🅿️ Getting There & Parking

Rideshare Recommended: Take Uber, Lyft, or a taxi for easy drop-off.
Parking: Park at East Beach Parking Lot or Marina Green Parking Lot and walk to the start area.

📜 Race Rules & Policies

Strollers & Dogs: Allowed only in the 5K Fun Run & Walk.
Changing Your Distance? Yes! Log into Eventbrite and transfer to another race.
Can I transfer my registration? Yes! Transfer to a friend via Eventbrite.
Refund Policy: Registrations are non-refundable but can be transferred between race events or to a friend.
