This historic 12k fun run through the streets of San Francisco is over 100 years in the making.
Itâs a race made for everyone, so dress up, bring your friends and be cheered on every step of the way by SFâs finest crowds. Pushing boundaries and breaking records since 1912 â itâs your turn to join the party.
đ Event Details and Schedule
Bay to Breakers starts in the Embarcadero neighborhood by the San Francisco Bay, and takes you through nine of the cityâs most notable neighborhoodsâall the way to the Great Highway, where the breakers crash into Ocean Beach.
- Route: The Bay to Breakers 12K race runs west through the city and finishes at the Great Highway along the Pacific Coastâs Ocean Beach.
- Sights: Among other sights, youâll race through Panhandle Park at the northern boundary of the Haight Ashburyâthe birthplace of the Deadheadâand cut through Golden Gate Park.
- Pro tip: Watch out for the bison!
